This and That

Hi! It is windy right now. Rained hard early this am. Seemed to dry out, so I washed some clothes and hung out the tee shirts and dish towels. and the wind blew them dry.

We just got back from Taco Bell. One of the clerks came by to see if everything was all right. We started talking with him, he knew where we were parked, he lives not too far from our campground. Found out we were "snowbirds" from Indiana. He had never really met "snowbirds" before. Poor guy, he had to meet the 4 of us. Linda and Austin just as fun as we are. ????? anyway, His manager is moving to Indiana. Why? It is cold and snowy up there.
so we talk to the manager. Mohammad. His family, wife and daughters, were not happy in Florida. No family or friends. He may be going to Muncie. So we might see him again.

Yesterday, we went to the flea market at Webster. Oh, they had some good fleas. Like about 20 some pieces of silver. Ernie is polishing the last 3. Found a couple of berry spoons, some pieces of Old Colony that I like and a sardine fork. This fork was sterling. but it was the first one we had seen and so we bought it. We usually stick with silver plated silverware.
when we find the odd piece like that and it is in good condition we will buy it to add to the collection of unusual pieces.

Do you know how Chubby Checkers go his stage name? We were told this the other day while at Busch Gardens and the Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo concert. (Ernie will have pictures later)

It seem as tho when Chubby Checkers was young he was called Chubby. When Dick Clark and his wife were interviewing him to come on Bandstand they decided he needed a stage name. so do you have a nick name? Yes, they call me Chubby. Dick Clarks wife said "Hmmm, there is
"Fats Domino" Why don't you go by Chubby Checkers"!!! thats what we were told. Who knows!

Oh, I need to get something out of the freezer for supper. Talk to you later. JKC
