The Wedding

It is New Year's Eve day and we are still home. Our reason for staying home was to attend the wedding of our son, They have both been married before and did not want a big wedding. It was lovely. Just right for both of them. They were in a small restaurant, our son provided a southwestern style meal. There was punch and cake at another table. About 30 friends were there to witness the vows and celebrate the occaison. We enjoyed ourseleves.

Mug Recipes

Hi! We are not in the RV yet, but I found these recipes and they make a good use of some of those many mugs we seem to amass. And just right for the winter season.

Snowman Soup.

1 envelope hot cocoa mix, unopened

15? miniature marshmallows

3 milk chocolate "kisses"

1 candy cane

Place the ingredients in a decorated resealable plastic bag. And/or a

Christmas or Valentine mug. Attach the following poem.

I was told you've been good this year......I'm really glad to hear it!

With freezing weather drawing near, you'll need to warm the spirit.

So here's a little snowman soup complete with a stirring stick.

Add hot water, sip it slow. It's sure to do the trick!

May have to change the poem some to work for Valentines Day

And then if you hunger for chocolate cake and don't dare bake

a whole cake, 'cause you will eat it ALL. Try this.

The most Dangersous Cake recipe in the World.

This is real good! Look Out! all you Chocoholics!!!!!

Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

1 coffee mug 3 Tablespooons milk

4 Tablespoons plain flour 3 tablespooons oil

4 tablespoons baking cocoa 3 tablespooons chocolate chips (optional)

1 egg small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.

Add the chocolate chips ( if using) and vanilla, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave amd cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.

the cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

Allow to cool a little, then tip out onta a plate if desired.

EAT! (this can serve two, if you want to share!)

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?

Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from-------

Chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

We are new at blogging, will have more when we hit the road. And I
write the way I talk sometimes. Not in complete sentences and the
grammer may be lacking. But, we enjoy reading other blogs and
decided it was time to start our own. See you down the road!
